wept over the wkend over palace/norwich/southampton.but if u're honest with yourselves both norwich and palace were always struggling from day one and i'll be very surprised if either team make a quick return!
both teams gave their all but the class was'nt there and i reckon they will lose players like johnstone and routledge, norwich have no one of much class to sell anyway.
of the 3 gone down i reckon southampton have the most chance of coming up over the next couple of yrs.

After we beat you two nill suprising you said that! When won the league we were a weaker side with less money. What do you no about the championship anyway!

i think saints will lose most their squad coz of wages e.g. Le Saux will be on a bomb as well as the likes of lundekvam, phillips etc

I can't see the likes of Crouch playing Championship football. I predict Southampton will release about 5 players and probably some players that will end up playing in League 1 or 2.

I wouldn't bet on It mate,Us and Norwich had far less to lose,we're both financially sound because we didn't go berserk with the old spending and we're used to life outside the prem, saints are not and It comes as a bit of a shock to some of the them!!

What do you no about the championship anyway! i'm afraid a few wins now and again does'nt make norwich a top flight team!! all i know about the 2nd rated league is that very few stay up any legth of time and to be honest u will need a lot of new players to regain a place in the top flight and my bet is that u won't do it.........a wager?

so......u reckon your gonna retain your star striker and winger.........looks like another wager coming on?? Routledge will go..........he's out of contract so It'll only need a compensation payment to prize him away, but he's over-rated in my book anyway! and Johnstone as you call him I don't think will be going anywhere,he's still got 4 and a half years left on his contract and no-one will want to pay the sort of money It's going to cost now. He'd rather be scoring bundles of goals in the championship than warming someones bench in the premiership!!

This guy redskipper speaks sense, Take a look at the 3 that went down the previous year LEEDS,LEICESTER & WOLVES mid table , although i think all 3 will top 6 along with ipswich or west ham, posibly derby next season, so all this "we'll win the league next year" is very short sighted... it's tougher than it looks down here you'll find out,and the refs are even worse.

Leeds,Leicester and wolves are not us,we're going down financially sound because we haven't gone silly spending money we haven't got,If we do manage to keep the squad we've got, which i know Is a big If,we'll do ok. Our chairman has been very shrewd,he's learnt from ours and other teams relegation experiences and got our best players(except Routledge who i think is over-rated anyway) on long contracts so if the worst happened It'd take large amounts of money to prize them away. There's nothing short sighted about my views,I've supported Palace for over 30 years and for the large part of It they've been In what is now called the championship so i know how difficult It can be to get out of!!

so how much d u rekon he's worth then? It's hard to say mate,no-ones worth the milions thats thrown around now but I doubt our chairman would let him go for less than 6 Million now,we haven't got to sell and he doesn't want to go,he knows he'll score loads of goals next season rather than being In and out of a premierships side team.
