Yesterday, after agreeing terms including compensation which is now rumoured to be approximatley £600,000, Yeovil manager Gary Johnson was appointed manager of Bristol City. The speculation started on Wednesday and by Thursday evening the two major terristial stations (BBC and ITV) were 90% that Johnson would become manager of the Bristol club. As for the Glovers Assistant Boss Steve Thompson is in temporary charge.

How come he would go to Bristol City yet not Coventry? He said that Bristol City would be one of the clubs he would leave Yeovil for. At the moment the Robins are the biggest club in the West but we'll show 'em!!!
