West Mercia Policeman PC Mark Milton has been cleared today of speeding in an unmarked police vehicle. Instead the judge praised him for acheving these speeds in the name of police work. PC Milton was clocked doing 84 mph in a 30 mph zone and 159 mph on the M54.
IMO that's insutling. Shouldn't the police use off road racing tracks to test driving ability or if they use roads it should be at a suitable speed with a sign saying "Test Car" and sirens on. PC Milton was lucky that someone wasn't injured.
