The studio near me is £100 for 4 hours.

So 20 hours, but that's a bit too much

I'd probably get a JD crybaby wah wah, a bass guitar and ampand a shure 58 mic and if i had enough a condenser recording mic.

London has improved these days.

I would travel down to RAF Wittering fly to Westland. Walk up to Huish Park (5-10 mins) watch Yeovil win (hopefully!!)then fly back.
